TECHNOLOGY IN REAL ESTATE

Technology has effected real estate in so many ways, & they are all for the good!
  • Drones are not only used for fun, agents can use a drone to -capture a birds eye view of the home, showing the roof and the lot all in one picture.
  • Also agents used to have to drive back and forth from buyer to seller back to buyer just for all of the right signatures. Now they have digital ways where each party can sign using the computer, making the process easier for everyone.

A lot of people want to have a bar, but aren’t sure where to put one. Sometimes the small awkward spaces in your home are the best places! You can do anything from small spaces between two walls, extra counter space, rolling carts or even a book shelf! You can do a wet bar if there is a sink available or just have shelves of different liquor, glass and a mini fridge!

Things to consider when putting an offer in on your house!

  • Checking out the price of the surrounding homes so you can compare prices is a great thing to do.  
  • Having an agent helps because they do have other sources of looking at previous sales of the home you are looking at and ones surround it. 
  • Making sure the home appraises for what it is worth is very important. You don't want to have a 2 bedroom house with 1000 square foot down the street sell more than the 4 bedroom with 3000 square foot. All of the numbers have to add up and be equivalent.

Why you SHOULD have a realtor!

  • You are not sure of the price your home is worth and it is usually based on the surrounding homes. 
  • You do not want to be put up your house for too little and not make the money you should have. 
  • Besides the year of the home there are so many things that go into the pricing of it such as; square footage, the amount of bedrooms and bathrooms, the lot size, if it has a garage or not & so many more things. 
  • Realtors will give you advice on what NEEDS to be revised before putting it on the market.
